Non-profit Autopoietic Systems

The monograph explores the different ways of organizing the non-profit area that will be crucial in satisfying general needs at the societal level in the future. The principal author argues that the welfare state is a very difficult concept that is based on economic and societal development.

According to his view, the opportunities for efficient and effective satisfying of the public need are based on the autopoietic power of the non-profit organizations in the social system. The empirical part of the monograph analyses the state of solidarity and the importance of the common good in Slovenian society.
