Vodilni avtor monografije na teoretični in na empirični ravni razvija model inovativne organizacije, ki izhaja iz organizacijske kulture, ki je žilava, prilagodljiva in nenehno obnovljiva v spremenljivih okoliščinah. Avtor nazorno prikaže povezave med vedenjem posameznika v organizaciji, organizacijskim vedenjem, ki se izraža v organizacijski kulturi in kulturni vzorci vedenja na nacionalni ravni. Po prepričanju avtorja uspešnost organizacije v prihodnosti zagotavljajo trije faktorji: inovativnost, sistemsko vedenje in prilagodljivost, ki so izhodišče za zadovoljstvo kupca. Avtor s številnimi empiričnimi primeri dokazuje vlogo inovacijske kulture pri razvoju organizacije v spremenljivem poslovnem okolju. V zadnjih poglavjih avtor predstavi inovacijski model organizacije, ki temelji na empiričnih raziskavah v treh uspešnih organizacijah s področja industrije. Posebno pozornost avtor posveti pretoku informacij in znanja v organizaciji, ki ustvarja okolje za razvoj organizacije znanja in okolje za razvoj inovacijskega potenciala organizacije. Monografija je prvo delo v sklopu novega projekta ReSTORe, katerega cilj je razvoj obnovljive, prilagodljive in vzdržljive organizacije, ki bo uspešno obvladala različna krizna stanja.

The principal author of the monograph theoretically and empirically develops the model of experimental organization. The basis for the development of innovative potential is to be found in the organizational dimensions like resilience, adaptability, and sustainability. Authors clearly show relations between individual behaviour, organizational culture, and national culture and link these relations to the creation of innovative potential. According to the leading author, three factors determine the success of the future organization: innovativeness, systemic behaviour, and adaptability that strongly influence the content of the customer. Besides, author defines the current role of the organizational culture presenting some practical cases from various organizations. Author develops the experimental model of future planning based on several empirical studies of organizational culture in the last chapters. Author is particularly attracted to the free flow of information and knowledge in the organization. He points to the necessity of the design of the business environment where innovative capacity can develop. Presented monograph is the first work in the project ReSTORe, which is aimed to the development of resilient, adaptable, and sustainable organization that is successful in mastering of crisis.
